Donno yet I'll definitely get good tracks though. It's the cost that holds me back...... but I'm sure I'll be tempted to get some goodies

Re: Noel's Build: Wespe (Started the BASE)
As you can see I was busy with my Wespe. And to prove I've started, here are some pics.....
DRY FITTED
Some scratch upgrades that I found on Achtung Panzer
The two white things are the transformer and the intercom something box. I'll be removing the plastic lip underneath the cover (on top of the radio) that I made out of foil... and adding a copper wire grab handle to the radio set........ just like Jenny did on hers'! Than I'll wire the radio and connect...and hope the damn thing works!
Regards
Noel

Sweet "Start" Noel
Your Wespe is looking sweet , I am doing the same coiled radio cords to all the intercom boxes as well .
I guess after the Bison , something that goes together easily is heavenly !

Re: Noel's Build: Wespe (Started the BASE)
This project is slightly on hold at the moment as I'm on the last stages of a diorama that I will be taking up to Euro with me.
As soon I finish some vital pieces I'll get back to the Wespe again........ and have to order some figures from Panzer (New World Miniatures)!!
Sneak peek pic of the project which I will be opening a thread soon!

The building had two floors intact originally but had to trim it down to be able to fit in my transport hand luggage box! It was made by DIOTECH a German manufacturer. The plaster items were very crisp and fine. I don't believe they are on the market anymore.
Thanks Laura! I look forward to re-start the project!

Noel

Re: Noel's Build: Wespe (Started the BASE)
OK...here we go! Started and won't let go........oh.... there are other two Group Builds soon to start!!!
Anyway....this morning I finished assembly and the Wespe is ready for painting.... still have to decide what colour... if Grey or Yellow!
The scene will be somewhere in Russia, a withdrawal with the wespe in the background and the crew around a warm fire (similar to Laura's set-up!!) and some troops walking past... in the snow again!!
I am waiting for metal tracks to arrive
Tamiya dudes........very good actually!
Wolf and Belgo guys. They are all in Milliput. I'll probably be using these in the future and thought to cast them using RTV and pressing Milliput into the mould!!! Polyurethane resin is hard to get and expensive
