An excellent job when it is hard to see all the reworking and detailing you did! Now, to take extreme close ups (before attaching to a base) to see all details painted up!

Excellent, Jenny! It's getting better and better!
I like the sand colour. I don't know it you already mentioned it but what brand of paints did you use? (Lifecolor I'd imagine! )
Regards
Noel

Thanks again everyone ,
Well I have done the chipping , the rust streaking & the oil stains .
The chipping on the ammo bins is rather heavy , on most photos this area is piled high with stowage , this vehicle will be no different but you never know when something may be seen .
More soon.

I like that the chips are there but are fairly subdued. And the stains turned out quite nice. Like the chips, there's just enough in all the right places.
Sweet!

You're doing a terrific job weathering this little beast. The results are really impressive; from the oil stains to the chipped paint. A pleasure to watch!

Re: Jennys Build : Dragon Marder II ALL FINISHED SEPTEMBER 6th !!!!!!
Thanks everyone for the encouragement , I really draw a lot from other peoples comments.
Well the Marder is now stowed with all manner of accessories
The Tarpaulin is made from Magicsculpt which was layed over the ammo boxes & hull side with glad wrap between so it would not stick to them , when it was the holes were drilled thru for the ropes , as the tarpaulin is pulled back (remember the guys are having a cup of coffee) the underside of the tarpaulin being less faded is exposed .
You can see I have given the vehicle a real lived in feel .
The details are as important as the big picture , the tool box has the vehicle number painted on (as no doubt the tools insdie have too) to stop other crews "borrowing" them , the Pith helmet is from Warrior
Note the copy of Die wehrmacht behind the MG boxes & the cool tetra label on the fire extinguisher.
The Archer German Recognition flag is being held in place with a spare track link and a brick . Note how cool the weld beads look on the splash plate !
The Jerry Cans are painted in different colour , just to give some variety .
I had to add the cap for the fuel tank as there is none provided .
Note the highly chipped area around the gun , these guys are veterans !
The two german helmets were painted with my own technique , they were first painted with LifeColor Anthacite & then with a fine sponge (for mascara) I dabbed them heavily with Vallejo Sand & then very lightly with Vallejo Light Sand to give a mottled fine chipped look .
The first aid box , a bottle of wine & some well worn spare boots add colour & visual interest
As does the copy of Signal tucked in , in front of the water exchange hose .
Well thats it for now , let me know what you think

That's justFANTABULOUS .I am always amazed at all the tiny little things that you put everywhere on your models that make them look so real and " lived in ". I was just a little curious though, what happened to the traffic paddle?
This is going to look so perfect when you put it in the dio with all the figures and the story line.
Gary the lumberjack, not the goatherder.
