Hiya Jenny:
Oh that looks ever so lovely . Someday I will try to build a kit in just little bits of kit here and there, and then put it all together at the end. But I am confused about one thing . This is supposed to be a StuG build. Not a submarine build. So no building submarines allowed here .
Gary
P.S. I am waiting for the world wide shortage of brass to hit, then I will turn in my enormous stockpile of photo-etch leftovers and retire to Tahiti with all the money. I must have about 50 pounds of the stuff .

Well I have nearly finished painting the interior , the paint is all lifecolor .
Note the map and cigarette packet from Dioart . also the labels on the safety levers on the breech side
Dragon really did well adding all the radio stuff to the interior
I still have to detail paint the MP ammo pouches .
The breach has some nice detail .

A lot of eye candy here Jenny, and I don't just mean the pin up. Really nicely painted radios, and details, plus tantalising glimpses of some the PE on the exterior!
Cheers

Spiffy work on the interior, Jenny, and nice eye for details! You need to leave the roof unglued so all this work isn't lost!

Nice work
Nice work Jenny. How long does it take to finish the model, usually?

Superb interior there Jenny. And thanks for the info on the details as I may need something similar before too long.

Well I have painted the basic camo , still have to detail paint the tools , head pad for the commander etc and then onto the weathering !
I chose a fairly basic dark yellow with a mottled green cam , all paints are lifecolor . I painted the rear frame in red oxide primer and for a change I painted the barrel in german greugrun which was also used as a primer color . The decals are archer .
The tracks are painted with the new lifecolor track set specifically for painting model tracks , what they have is a special reflecting agent which can be mixed with any of the lifecolor paints and can be either brush or airbrushed on . I mixed a batch of 3:3:2 of intermediate wear , reflector agent & lifecolor thinner and airbrushed it onto the tracks , it covers well and the track in front has had a light rub with a soft cloth leaving the exposed face with a subtle steel sheen.
Well I will stick all the subassemblies together now , finish the detail painting and then weathering begins !

Jenny,
Your build and paint scheme look awesome! I'm amazed at how quickly the builds gets done around here.....I'm stuck in zimmerit purgatory with mine! I cant wait to see the next stage with the figures and weathering.
Awesome work as always.
Regards,
Matt.
