New Walk Around book on the V-100
David Doyle has authored another outstanding armor book for Squadron Signal. This one features tons of beautiful color images of the inside and outside of several V-100 and V-100 based armored cars.
Lots of rich detail and great reference for building the HobbyBoss kit.
Not a bad book
I wish that there were more period shots in it, but still the best book on the V-100

The "In Action" series will have period shots
The "Walk Around" series is shots of contemporary restored vehicles, no historical coverage.
Doyle is also working on an "In Action" title on the V-100 in Vietnam. That will have the period shots.

Walk arounds
Hey David ,
I have the walk arounds on the Stug III , Sherman , Tank destroyers & M2/M3 Half track & they are excellent . Every detail you can imagine .

I will definitely get this book, along with the Trakz wheels, and the decals. Add some of the new lovely M-60 machine guns from Plus Models and I am set! To do what? Probably set the package on a shelf and pull it out in a decade (like so many of my other 'projects')
