Nice radio set.... and well painted too!
I always think the radio set dresses up the vehicle fighting compartment. And if painted well, like you did, and wired, like you will be doing, it will look smashing!
Regards
Noel

Well I have wired the radio into the Right hand sponson .
I used Bobs simulated wood technique for the cleaning rods , I will have more details soon as the other sub-assemblies & all the accessories are pretty much progressing at the same rate !
Please let me know what you think !

Fantastic work on the interior. This is the area that made me stop building mine well over a year ago. Detail and finish are top notch!

Wow Jenny, those radios look so real! The wiring and indeed those placards make them look even better. Those litttle details make the difference between a model looking good and a model looking superb!

WOW!
Lots of details on the radios! You even have the data plates! The pics are blown up large to see the detail. A lot of models won't stand up to that, but the radios surely do! You have done a fantastic job with this build! I'd really like to see it in person!
Were the data plates decals? They actually remind me of the old Waldron Products instruments and data plates. They were the most realistic I have ever seen. I think they are still in business? Whatever type they are, they are very convincing!
Well done Boss!

Well thank you all for the lovely comments .
Well I have been working my way slowly through the interior , fun to do but painfully slow as everything has to be painted decaled , washes , filters , fading chipping & then pigments seperately & then fitted .
The Drivers seat is only roughly shaded , not really that visible when it gets buttoned up
The Marder had a wierd placement for the Jack , right next to the engines air filter ( I think the only German AFV that stowed the jack internally )
The commanders Gas Mask stowage , next to it is the tube which allowed the filter to be detached so not to hinder the commander while wearing the gas mask .
The drivers Gas Mask was adjacent to the drivers vision block & above the simple dash of Tacho & speedo
The driver had a similar breathing tube for his gas mask as well stowed next to his seat .
I added some chipping on the fuel tank and around the cover for the drive shaft.
More soon

The interior looks excellent! As you said, a lot of work! The leather seat looks real! The instrument under the gas mask cannister is really clear and also looks very real. Nice job on the chipped paint as well. What a shame you will close that all up as the others have mentioned. Oh well, the trials and tribulations of a modeler!
Fantastic job Jenny!!!

Re: Jennys Build : Dragon Marder II ALL FINISHED SEPTEMBER 6th !!!!!!
Well thank you everyone for the lovely encouragements , well here is some stuff I have been doing !
Now I glued all three ammo boxes into one sub assembly , I added the backing plates which recieved a wash of very dark brown .
The small details are added to the gun assembly
Then the side sponsons were glued to the fenders, the ammo subassembly & the front of the hull .
Now I need to carefully mask the interior & paint the outside .
Note the bosch light , spare track links , gun lock & fender supports all added after the sponsons were secured so they would not be bumped off & lost . I have left the spare wheel off to allow me to paint the details underneath & the spare seperately .
I also added some of the small details to the back at this time too .
The gun is not attached so I can mask the interior . Hence why the gun locks are not attached .
Here are some of the accessories that I will use for the diorama . I painted the wooden bits with Bobs method !
Hope you like it
