I know it might be an older book that some of you might have seen years ago, but I recently came across it, The price was $26.95 at a local hobby shop, but I picked mine up at the half priced book store for $13.48 (I thought that was a great deal too). There are 172 pictures all on glossy pages, and tons of valuable information on diorama building. There are some simply amazing dioramas in this book.
The author starts out with the basics:
Part 1: What you need:
1. Tools and equipment
2. Diorama materials
3. Resources
4. Subject and scale (I would love to see some of the books that he uses as reference).
5. Aftermarket products.
Part 2: Building a diorama:
1. Base
2. Composition
3. Forming terrain on diorama
4. Selecting the right models
5. Buildings
6. Figures
7. Details (7 sub-sections)
8. Vegetation on a diorama
9. Tools and paints
Part 3: Gallery:
1. Wehrmacht activities during the 1939 Sept Campaign
2. BP-42 Train
3. KW-2 (KV-2)
4. 76.2mm Field gun with horses
5. Cromwell command tank
6. Cromwell Mk IV
7. ISU-152
8. T-34
9. BT-7
10. BA-6
11. BR-52 train
All in all it’s a great modeling book that gives you some great ideas and shows off a lot of really nice stuff done by the Author.
Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys a good book about dioramas.

Bob,
I'm sorry to have taken so long to get back to you...
I got mine at one of the many local "Half Priced Books" stores in our area.
I'm sure if you ask any good book store (use the ISBN) if it's available, they
can get it...
Sorry again for the delay...
Shawn
