Hey Jenny
I've had 3 little someones wanting me to do a Kurogane as a noddy car for quite some time.. but have put it off coz of it only being in 1/48.. now I will have to find out where I can get one from lol.
Cheers

Cool, eh. One of my model club buddies won the 1/35 Pit Road Kurogane as a door prize at the model show in Calgary two weeks ago. I had no idea they were available.
The motorcycle is my favourite.

Some nice stuff. The Type 95 is crying for a red and yellow paintjob
The artillery piece is also great but is it me or the neck of the crewmen is too long

hmmmm ... am i the only one having an image of donald duck's 313 in mind upon seeing the kurogane?
the artillery is absolutely my like! that's exactly how artillery from the first half of the last century should look! that rather crude design is sexy!

Re: New from Pit Road
I reviewed the Kurogane on another modeling site, and it is a handsome little model. It would look great painted red and yellow too!

Hey Jim,
Nice to see you here. Can you post your review here as well? If not, provide a link so we can see it directly.

Saúl

Here is my favourite review of the Kurogane , This is the PMMS review of the Tamiya 1/48 scale car in Noddy scheme

OK, here's the link, since you asked.
I didn't want to offend anyone by linking to Armorama.

Thanks Dave,
The fact I don't post on Armorama has nothing to do with 99.99% of the people there. I simply get distracted by the design so I don't dig deep enough other than the What's New page or direct links.
This kit looks like it is a nice one, have you had a chance to build it?
Regards,
Saúl

Saul,
I haven't had the time to do much building lately due to a change at work.
I went from the midnight shift, where I could do 90% of my building, (midnights in a boiler room gets boring)
to the day shift, and became the chief engineer somewhere along the way, so molding time at work has ended.
I'm lucky I get a few hours at home each week. A review here and there, read a book, or actually speed read a book, and maybe even squeeze in some female friend time certainly cuts down the building.
Lets see, build a model, get ----, not a major decision.

A machinegun towing Noddy.... what's next? A postman pat tank?
The gunned Kurogane looks cool, I'm starting to like these Japanese subjects lately....

As for the first part, I totally understand. My time to even write reviews has been cut down by my work load. As for the second part, get married and have a child... the decision is an easy one in the OPPOSITE direction!

At my age, the women I date are pass the reproduction/biological clock running out age. I really don't think their 30 years old children suddenly want a little brother or sister.

Do the motorcycle with the side car comes with a machine gun? The pose of the soldier is the pose of someone firing one!
