Ruben's Build; Bison I from Alan Models Finished 07/07/09

Hi Ruben,

Somehow I missed this post Realy a great job on the Alan Bison! The painting and weathering is awsome to. I like the figures and there poses asspecially the one who is putting the branches on the little beast.

Much better! But that darn light just reflects a bit!

I know they are matt finish... I have the same problems with black and dark blue.... they shine in photos!

What paint did you use? Vallejo Acrylics?

If you use acrylics I suggest you use the ANDREA acrylics when it comes to black. I've tried it and it's very matt! In fact all ANDREA are matt. I mainly use Vallejo but I have an ANDREA Black and a Field Grey which are a lot matter than the Vallejo.

The diorama is so pleasant to look at! You did a very good job!

You're welcome! If I'll have time I'll quickly paint two figures in Vallejo black and Andrea black so you can visually see the difference. It will also be a kind of an experiment!
