Panzer III DAK x 2
Here are the start photos for me and my offsiders DAK Panzers. My youngest child Abby wants to have a go at building one of the two tanks supplied in the kit. Both of the builds will be OOB as I will be away from home with work for two weeks of the month.

Re: Panzer III DAK x 2
Thanks for the comments chaps. This looks like a nice little kit; on first inspection it seems to have quite a bit of detail for a fairly small parts count. Abby and I will try and get a bit done this weekend as I’m off on Monday for two weeks.

Re: Panzer III DAK x 2
A quick update on Abby and my Panzer III’s. I have the lower hull of mine ready for undercoat. Abby has her lower hull complete but has also done some of the turret. She got a little bit excited and cut the corner off the gun mantel when she was getting it off the sprue , but I should be able to fix it for her.

Re: Panzer III DAK x 2
Thanks Jenny.
I’m probably going to follow the painting instructions on the box, but I’m pretty sure Abby will use as many colours as she can get her hands on!!!!

Kewl , the technicolor nightmare
Re: Panzer III DAK x 2
Excellent she can drive you potty with colour choice.
It'll be good practice for you for when she discovers boys.

Nice work on those panzers, kids! You could call Abbys panzer a late war scheme, some of those camo patterns were pretty out there

Hi Abby, Hi John:
Those are a nice pair of Pz III's. And it's not a mistake John. That is battle damage that Abby has done. Already she is super detailing kits . Please don't stop now, this is really fun to watch.

Another update on Abby and my Panzer’s. Both our builds are complete. I’ve got mine painted and ready for decals and weathering, but Abby has just started on her first camo colour!

Abby has just about finished her panzer, just have to give her a hand with some decals.
I am done with mine. I tried to make mine look like this one.

Re: Panzer III DAK x 2
Abby has finished her Panzer . I enjoyed building our kits together, except for the fact that she never stops talking (takes after her Mother!). She recons she wants to build another model, so we may be posting more of her work in the future.
