saving the print on paint bottles
I know this is not a tremendous tip, but it does work. If you use vallejo, andrea, lifecolor, or pollyscale, it seems after a while the print on the bottles wears off and you don't know what color it is. take a piece of wide scotch tape and wrap around the label, it saves the print from wearing off.
Not a super tip, but kinda handy!

Here is what I do
Here is what I do, I look at colors and not numbers! I squirt a little paint from the bottle and then dip the cap into the wet paint, when it dries I can see the true color and all of my paints are done that way.

Print on bottles
Thanks! good tip.....................
On many of my bottled paints I place circle dots (art supply stores) on the lids and write the color name and/or number..............Reused bottles I write the paint color on a white square label and apply..........
I try not to throw out old bottles.......[empty, soak in lacquer thinner for enamels, then wash out].........
