New ? M4A1 from Tasca.
Sometimes I find myself stuck seeing things that I sort of kinda know about, but I aint no expert or nothin on it. And this is one of those things. I know that Shermans were on our side, and they were usually painted green . But then comes the fact (it think) that there were about as many diffrent versions of Shermans as there are clouds in the sky . I think that Tasca has previously released an M4A1, but I don't know if this is the same kit all over again with the hedgecutter thrown in, or something all new. Anyways. They are listing this as "coming soon" on their website, so I will let all you Shermofiles out there figure out what is what for us all, and maybe you could share it with those of us that are not so much in the know about these big green things

Re: New ? M4A1 from Tasca.
Greetings and Salutations Gary
So far Tasca have done about three versions of M4A1s (plus a couple of "specials" with unusual decal options), and this looks like their late-production A1 model with the addition of the Cullin blades. I've not got a late A1, so I'll probably go for this
I wish they would do the M4A1 with the 76mm turret, the Italeri version is now ancient and the DML option is a long way from perfect.
But if they were all perfect, Formations and the like would be out of business.

Hiya Simon:
I hear you about the M4A1/76. They have the hull, and they have the turret. All they really need is the decals I believe. But I think that all we need to do is be patient (somehow), and they will eventually give it to us. And then after even more paitience we will get into all those Israeli monster Shermans.

Re: New ? M4A1 from Tasca.
I would love to see Tasca release some new IDF Shermans. I just hope I get to use my Formations, DML and Accurate Armour kits before they (if, of course) release IDF Shermans. I am also holding out hope that they might release a new series of M-10, M-18, M-36 series of vehicles. However, if Formations (or somebody like them) were to release update and corrections for the above kits, I would happy to finally build the kits on my shelves.
