Mels build . A big gun and big half track

Hello everyone. I am going to be building a halftrack towing a big gun. Richie said these guns were very good for blowing up planes, blowing up tanks and even against infantry.







The figures are butt ugly so I will use some better ones. Thanks Jenny for the photos and helping me post them.

A clssic set of kits. I remember building them back in the 1980's.

Well this was a pretty nice build. The figures all need to be built yet. I need to make the base too.

Wow! It DOES look like that Zabak's disease is spreading here . That is a real nice job on both the halftruck and the "88". And if you and Jenny can get the paint done this weekend, maybe you and her can enter a second kit. Maybe even a couple of airamaplanes for your "88" to shoot at . I'm sure Jenny would like that .

Nice work Mel. Theres so much detail on the 88 for such a small scale it looks really good.

Sorry I am so late in finishing and thanks to Erica and Gary for giving me an extension. I had to wait for another bottle of diorama gloop that Jenny ordered to finish.























I used figures by Preiser, thank you Jenny for making the load on the back of the half track , for taking photos and helping me post them.
Thanks Richie for helping me with the right paints and stuff and cutting the board.

Wow Mel. Very nice work, especially with all the little fellas.

Very nice!! The HT and 88 are very good and the figures are excellent, but my fave is the base!!

Those rubber band tracks remind me of the sort you got in 1:35 kits when I was a kid. They were tragic! Full marks for persevering with them, well done!

That turned out to be one great little diorama. And I am impressed with how good your halftrack and great big old "88" looks way nice too. So in the future just make sure you get to the gloop before Jenny does .

That is a beauty too! I think Mel should get double credit because that was two kits she built! And very nicely too! I kind of thought it was a France, 1940 diomarama until I saw the caps, but more so the K for Kampfgruppe Kleist, ahhh... a visit to the Ostfront! The tracks that were supplied are kinda icky, but the weathering is awesome and makes me a bit jealous! Not too much, not too little, and just the right color of dust too! Awesome work Mel!
