Re: FINALLY!!
Well Roy , we do not have credit cards , what you need is a seperate bank account with a Visa debit card , I get all my bonuses and overtime paid into this account and I use it for buying model stuff on the internet , if I do not have the money the transaction does not go through , it only uses my money so no interest charges .
They really are the way to go , it works in all respects like a credit card except you are spending your own money . I actually have two seperate ones , one is an emergency one , I only take it when I go away , in case my card or purse gets stolen etc . I have never even used it ! The world is that much smaller to shop with one and you can certainly choose where to buy from .

They can be had for less as others have indicated. The kit is every bit as good in the flesh as it looks in the reviews. I am in the process of getting a heap of reference photos of the Puckapunyal, Samur and Bovington examples up on our club website. i will let you know when that is done.

Re: FINALLY!!
Thanks people, luckily last nights jolt was just a scare, nothing serious happened, just upped the tension a tad.
Found a couple of nice clear shots of a Vickers here http://home.comcast.net/~szee1a/Littlefield10/Littlefield10.html, not too much of the interior visible unfortunately, but good pix anyway.
Unfortunately Jenny things here dont work quite the same as back home and dealing with banks is, well, Pythonesque is a word that springs to mind. However I see HLJ do deliver in Japan so I sent them a mail asking if there was another way I could pay, There are other options here (which I hope they use!) and even sending cash in the mail is entirely safe here.

Re: FINALLY!!
Funny Roy , your description of the banks has a mental image of someone traipsing off with my money with the ministry of funny walks , walk !
