Hussar Productions - New wheels for the Sd.Kfz. 221/222/223/260/261 & Horch 1a in the works!
I contacted Michael, who is away on break in Poland, about Bronco's Sd.Kfz. 221 wheels. They are not very good. So, I let him know that replacement wheels for this kit would also be suitable for Tristar's Announced Sd.Kfz. 222, Tamiya's Sd.Kfz. 222, 223 and Horch 1a truck. He agreed and told me that it was in the pipeline!
So, I sent along a few photos to show civilian pattern tires for the truck and Sd.Kfz. 221 as these started production before the Gelände type portrayed in all the kits. Let's hope they come along soon!
If someone makes the MG. 13 receiver for me to mate with Adler's Nest barrel, I can make a Chinese Sd.Kfz. 221.
Regards,
Saúl García

Cool Saul
Hey Saul ,
Sounds really very cool . I like Mix & Match tyres too , so a couple of pattern tyres on a Armoured car are cool .
Hmmmm an MG 13 reciever , there is a set available in resin in the Aber Pz I turret set but it is an expensive way of getting them .

Yes, one can get the resin receivers from the Aber turret set (or Tristar's discontinued set), or plastic ones from a Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf. A kit from Dragon or Tristar, or build one's own from the PE sides in Eduard's interior set... All an expensive way to get one MG 13 (since a high part of the cost is the gorgeous Adler's Nest barrel):

No, the receiver is quite different between the two.
After nursing a bruise from my latest 'dancing on ice' routine, a stroll in a warm sun sounds DEElightful!

No Chris,
Michael just stated that they were in the pipeline. He returns from Poland tomorrow so I will speak to him on the 15th to see if he needs more references and try to gage when they will be ready.
Could NWM be interested in tires? I say this after reading your response to the possibly never released Commando wheels.

Saúl

NWM has a cad designer
NWM has a cad designer who has done some tires for us in the past, I just wanted to see what the 221/222 patterns were.
