Jenny, I'm going to show my ignorance but was this prototype actually built or was this a paper Tiger?

It was built Tom and famously caught on fire in tests with the Henschell prototype , the Henschell one went on to win the contract and Porsche went on to obscurity building sports cars

Only one was completed although quite a few turrets were made (believing they would achieve the contract) and used on the first batch of King Tigers .
