The DAK Steyr is great.

I make it with a lot of scratch and conversion from the "normal" 1500A/01 from Tamiya - and they make a kit now.

Life is hard!

This is so cool!! Two new Russian items from the Big T!! I can't wait to get my grubby paws on those bad boys!!

Now all they have to do is announce a new BT-7 and I'll be in heaven.

I know the feeling of seeing a new release of one of your converted efforts, but to have Tamiya release it of all companies is 'something special' Shocked Laughing

I have to admit feeling nostalgic when seeing new 1/35 Tamiya releases; maybe they'll hook into the M4 family again yet... scratch (couldn't find the flying pig smiley)

The Tamiya Fair in Japan is taking place in a few weeks. A list of additional new items can be found on the Tamiya USA website:

Given Tamiya's past relationship with Italeri, I would say yes. I don't know if the barrel is an original Tamiya item or someone else's. I also noticed a SU-100 listed above the P-40. My guess is that is also an Italeri/Zvesda kit.

I know that Tamiya had an Su-85. But didn't they also have an Su-100 about a hundred years ago or so?
