Bronco's 1/350th Scale Yuan Class Attack Submarine
OK, not what you expect from me but I was a Navy man. While not mentioned on the box or in the instructions, this is the Model 039B of the Yuan Class submarine. It is a neat kit with only 25 pieces of which four comprise the base. The only PE is for the base. Some simplifications to the hand holds and rails but not good kit nonetheless.
In about ten minutes it was assembled out of the box. My son will have fun with it. The box states easy painting. I would agree except for the white hull stripes which are only 1.5mm and are not supplied as decals. I plan to cut stripes from white decals. There are decals for the water height marks and a flag.
