Ok, most of you didn't even knew that tank existed but for me this is a fantastic news

Wow, looking forward to those.
There aren't enough rainy days for me to attempt the awful Trumpeter effort I've got in the stash.

I'm with you dar. The trumpeter offering was one of their first kits and it does show

But with a megaload of TLC it can be build into an awesome model (not mine btw)

I must say Richard that having one of the Amtracks , that I am mighty impressed with Hobby Boss . This one hopefully is as good in quality .

Those new Type99 can't be worst than the old Trumpeter offering has it is at the very top of the PITA scale

Hobby Boss is realling getting their act together presently with their modern stuff.

Who knows, Trumpeter/Hobby Boss seem's to be making masters of modern stuff at an outrageous rate presently. So the T-80/T-90 may not be so far. We can hope

I got an email from one of the big-dogs @ Zvezda that thier long promised/yet to be deliverd T-90 was on track for European release in in July-August this year, FWIW

Oh and BTW, those "other" Chinese AFVS look interesting - would make a good dio.

I'm not sure which variant of the Type 99 to buy, but I will pick up at least one kit and also the other PLA kits that HobbyBoss is putting out. I wish Trumpeter or HobbyBoss would retool their original line of T-54/T-55 kits. A lot of possibilities exist in those molds.
