New releases from Meng

Meng are rapidly turning into my favourite model company. Two, yes that's two, oddball and unexpected releases in a week that followed on from what I understand is a very welcome Leopard 1 announced earlier this month.

First we had the shock and awe of the Char FCM 2C! I mean who would have expected this monster?

Basically I think Meng have seen the market potential for WWI and are going to go for it in the next year. One question though, did they measure Champagne? Conspiracy minded folks wish to know...

Then this morning I see news feed on their release of the Israeli Achzarit. Ok, not exactly my scene but Wow! It's interesting and very topical. Of note is the reference to early version, this implies a late version somewhere down the line.

Personally I can't wait to see what the next releases are, whatever they are though I think they'll be unique, unexpected and very welcomed.

I'm loving Meng right now.
IDF stuff is not my thing, but I'm homing in on the Char 2c. Meng are not supplying review kits to magazines but I've been tasked to get one ASAP by an Editor already.

If anyone gets word of availability on the Char please let me know.

Great stuff! I'm lovin Meng too and looking forward to build something from them soon. Trouble is which one   

I currently have the Minenraumer (Thanks to the Blessed Jenny) and the A39 Tortoise in varying stages of assembly, and they're really quite superb kits.

I'm also looking to get the D9 Dozer and their 1/32 Me163 Comet which looks awesome.
