The second Sherman I'll be building for this GB. Likely this will be started next year as I do have a lot on the workbench at the moment. However it is my intention to finish this one for the 8th August 2014 as this date marks the 70th anniversary of Trooper Joe Ekins (ably commanded by a Lt. A James Cool ) bringing to an end one of the Nazi regime's propaganda poster boys.

The kit I'm using, this is likely the best match for Velikye Luki and apart from a turned aluminum barrel and a set of T62 tracks this will be built out of the box. I scored a set of Bison decals with the correct markings from an excellent chap on Missing Lynx.
