Storm's a coming- 1/72 Kinetic F-16I Sufa
After a bit of feet dragging it's time to start my entry for the GB. This will be Kinetic's F-16I Sufa (Storm) in 1/72 scale. To start things off, here is the obligatory box shot, sprue shot, and current Squadron flyer for date purposes.
I'll have some progress photos in the next couple days.
Cheers,
Albert

Back from the dead. After a several month hiatus, it's time to blow the dust off of my Sufa and get it done for the group build
Test fitting the CFTs, dorsal spine, while some of the warts and bumps have been glued into place.
Cockpit base colors applied-
Completed detail painting completed. Fun fun in 1/72nd scale...
Completed cockpit r/h side.
More to come!
Cheers,
Albert

Thank you, Jenny (deploys countermeasures and begins defensive maneuvers).
Here is a small update, but a biggie in terms of getting this ready for paint. Cockpit is finished up, and the canopy glued into place. The ejection seats were dressed up with some Airwaves p/e seat harnesses. I also tinted the forward portion of the canopy. After a bit of trial and error, I finally got the amount of tint I was looking for (first attempt was way too dark, almost like automotive glass tinting). Next up will be some color on this beast.
Cheers,
Albert

Hi Albert:
It's looking very nice with the color on. And next comes the part I always liked most about building airplanes. The decals . For me that is what really makes them "come alive" .
