Well these figures are rather aptly dressed for the climate here today

They look good.

But I don't like this trend DML are going through of issuing a box of individual standalone figures that have no interaction.

Yeah I agree with Simon,

Stand alone figures are just not working for me either.

Value for money is to get all the figures in the 1 theatre of operations in the same unit .

Preferably the figures would be better if they could place them with equipment in or on vehicles .The stand alone pointing and looking just is not a selling point.

I'm not trying to bag dragon as they bring out some pretty nice poses but as a sales point of view , I would not purchase this set.
I think if they go down the isle like the other competitors and have them in gun crews or figures hitching a ride on a tank ,this is where the market is , or ,they do the figures in action, running, taking cover behind walls ...etc

I agree totally and just get frustrated that they already have IMHO the best boxart artist , one Ronald Volstad painting their box art for vehicles . The figures he draws , for example the RSO 01 figures would make a great dynamic box set .

Have a look at his box art for the RSO 75mm variant , the SdKfz 10 sets etc , I would buy every single one of them .

Personally I dont mind a box of disparate figures so much. Back in the good old days (when I used to actually FINISH a model) if I was making a diorama, Id usually mix and match figures from different sets anyway. Or mix and match, and adapt/change the bodies, arms, etc. With enough boxes of figures in the stash, and a bit of tweaking, I think I can come up with just about whatever I need figure-wise. A cohesive set is nice for a quick finish, its true, but then everyone can say "Aah, you used XXXX set.", I prefer a little bit of individuality most of the time.
