JT
That looks outstanding. When I first saw the thread,I thought why would JT want to paint a cat?

Whow JT!!!!!
Do some photoshop background and you will get people puzzled if it is the real deal or a model!!!
Great work and I love it!!!!

Hi John
The feeling of realism is incredible.
The Farmer on the land next to mine had some beat up old machinery that looked a perfect match to your Cat.
Amazing

J.T., this is really astounding! without a doubt, in the right setting this would be indistinguishable from the real thing. Once again, I'm seriously impressed by your treatment of the tracks, and the exposed framework of the torn seat back is inspired, and...and...and.....

Another splendid bit of work John!
I particularly like the way you weathered-in the panels that you had masked off before priming ( Cat decals, etc).
Wonderful indeed.
Keep up the good work,
Bill

Re: JT Takes a Break From Building Models to Paint His Cat
Hi Bill, you noticed that hey? Unfortunately the yellow I used to repaint the cat didn't match the original! So I had to fade it from that gold colour to a lemon yellow by airbrushing it with a very light coat of pale green, then the chipping was added to these areas using the sponge technique.
Thanks mate, cheers!

This is simply astounding!! Your control of mediums to achieve a realistic finish is really quite matchless. Well done sir and I look forward to your next masterpiece.

Wow,
JT, great job... I'm not sure the company that made it would be happy with your paint job.
But we love it...
Sweet.
