Dragons next little goodie.

I just became aware that Dragon is preparing to release a 1/35th scale M-422 Mighty Mite. If you don't know what that is, you are in the same group I was in just a minute ago. It seems it was a sort of "mini" Jeep that was going to be for the U.S. Marines. But it got cut from the budget when the UH-1 "Huey" appeared at almost the same time. That and the fact that a regular Jeep (they were really all Ford Mutts by then) was almost half the cost was the death knell for this little beastie. But some of them were actually built, and used in Vietnam.







Right now there is no news on when this will be released, but there are apparently at least one photo of the kit somewhere. And this was as of about 2 weeks or so ago. But then again this might be something that is going to be released right after the Ostwind that was announced as soon about a year and a half ago. Or was that two years ago now
