New Products from AK Interactive

AK Interactive have collaborated with Mig Jimenez to produce some new products recently, which I believe demonstrate an understanding of what the modeller really wants. (Or what I want, at least)

"For the first time, an acrylic product, odourless and effective to replace hairspray and to do effects of wear and scratches on our models."
Hopefully this will take away a lot of the unpredictability and dificulty when using the hairspray technique. I've found different results between different hairsprays.
For light chipping:


For heavy chipping and white wash:


Lens's for vehicle headlights:


White, Red, Amber, Black and optic color in many diameters from 1m/m to 5 m/m:


Dry Transfers:






New Pigments:


Dark Steel pigment formerly only available in a weathering set, now available individually. The effect is similar to pencil lead, but is said to be more realistic, like steel polished from high use and wear.

Every time something goes on it, someone offers me a deal for getting it sooner (BEF Matilda, AFV Club 3" M5), so list gets rewritten.
