New from Masterbox Models for March

MB 3578 “France, 1944”
– the kit consists of 3 sprues which include figures of 3 American paratroopers, a girl, her mother and a nun , 2 horses and French cart. NOTE This is not the old Cart from MB 3537, this is a fully new development.


2) MB 3567 “Civilians, Western region, WW II era”
- the kit consists of 1 sprue which includes 4 figures of Civilians and a little hand cart.

Do you know in what way(s) this new cart differs from the original one they released? This sure can get confusing can't it? Trying to keep track of what cart is in which of the four releases that is.

Well from the boxart only it appears the cart has a cover and may have straight sides and are totally enclosed , the in progress photomagraphs on the Masterbox site are of the old cart I am pretty sure .

I do not know whcih figure you refer to on the first posting ?

I was referring to the lower image which is supposed to be a four figure set plus a little handcart. Only three figures are shown and I suspect that the fourth figure is an adult woman. I was wondering if that is correct. When I went to the MB site I only saw the photos of the original planned set.

Hi Peter, are we seeing a different image as I see two men, one boy and one girl indicating four figures. Regardless I am really impressesd with these sets and MB continue to be , IMHO the most imaginative and interesting Figure Releases just in front of MiniArt.

Thanks. I was using Firefox at 100% and did not see the fourth figure to the right. HE looks Jewish. He might be very useful for my Middle East figures.

I have to say the France 44 set is magnificent and one of the best value sets I have bought in a long time. $15 Aus for a Horse & Cart and 6 Figures is great value. The quality looks to be very good at first look. Now I have to see if I can convert the Paras and the Nun to ones more suitable for Market garden.
