Revell B1-B Rereleased?
I know, ready to suffer the wrath of posting Aircraft news here but, do my eyes deceive me, Sprue Brothers has a supply of the B-One, the BIG one, the 1:48 scale one. And for only $55.99 (don't even get me started on what I paid on Ebay for this thing a while back).
When did they Re-Release this bad boy? Does that mean that the aftermarket will fire up and supply us with all the stuff that is soo needed for this build?
I have the Eduards Burners but nothing else has been available. guess it's time to check supplies of all the goodies also!
I figured there's folks around here who pay far grater attention the model news than I do. What gives, this a rebox, anything new or different in the kit?
Just noticed it has a new kit number so I think I've answered my own question.

I figured by now everyone knew that.
Now we can talk about your nice set of cans!!!! I've seen pics of them and boy are they nice!
Just awit till we get down with some real lingo like flaps and slats and vortex generators and high drag. We may have to put up a dictionary.

OK still lost and call me stupid if you so desire wot precisly do vortex generators do ? (other than generating vortexis!) i only ask because we didnt have them on our cheefys and they look important
i also suspect that vortexis is not a proper word but i am prepared to be educated out of this pit of ignorance

Re: Revell B1-B Rereleased?
Basically it just forces the air to move in a specific way over the surface. In this case we have an aircraft with a canopy design that was not intended in the original design of the airframe. With out the vortex generators on the canopy the airflow may create a pocket around the back. I'm just guessin' here, I really don't know what the hell I'm talking about...

Carabinier,
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_generator):
A lot of cars do have such installments too. On tanks, well, the control of airflow is not the main point of research I guess. At least tanks do not look to me as anyone is thinking of aerodynamics
For the TF-102 the vortex generators were installed because the big cockpit cover started to wobble when reaching Mach 1 without them.
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex_generator):
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vortex):Vortex generators are likely to be found on the external surfaces of vehicles where flow separation is a potential problem because vortex generators delay flow separation. On aircraft they are installed on the leading edge of a wing in order to maintain steady airflow over the control surfaces at the rear of the wing. They are typically rectangular or triangular, tall enough to protrude above the boundary layer, and run in spanwise lines near the thickest part of the wing. They can be seen on the wings and vertical tails of many airliners. Vortex generators are positioned in such a way that they have an angle of attack with respect to the local airflow.
A vortex (plural: vortices) is a spinning, often turbulent, flow of fluid. Any spiral motion with closed streamlines is vortex flow. The motion of the fluid swirling rapidly around a center is called a vortex. The speed and rate of rotation of the fluid are greatest at the center, and decrease progressively with distance from the center.
