By eck - that Maxim arrangement looks like something out of Mad Max! Its obviously truck mounted - Jenny do you know who developed/used it? I'm off to their web site to take a look.

It is Russian , it was commonly mounted on Gaz light trucks . It was good as it was used to shoot down those annoying flying thingies

Re: New from Tank
that is super-cool, and in use it was basically agood idea, because the combined fire-ratewas about 3600 Rounds Per mInute! The bad news?
1 - al guns pointed in one axis of fire only, and bulky for size
2 - being that it is .30 cal, it was out ranged by the 20mm-up cannon carried by attack aircraft.

Wow - It sounds typically "Russian" - potentially as leathal to operate as be on the receiving end of - especially mounted on the back of a soft skinned truck. It's been duely added to my coming soon list!
