TREEMENDUS Raw Grass
I thought I'd show you all some of the effects you can get using TREEMENDUS Raw Grass. It can be coloured using both water and oil based paints.

Re: TREEMENDUS Raw Grass
Hi Erik
It is simple to colour.
Firstly I trim the fabric to the desired length. You can use either scissors or clippers. I use scissors so as not to get a manicured look. I use a diluted poster paint which I rub into the fabric to give it a base colour. Then I use various other watercolours (browns, greens and yellow) rubbed in pretty much randomly to give a natural look. Next I take various aerosol paints (still haven't got myself an airbrush!) and spray the long tufts of fabric to simulate dry grass heads. When this has all dried get yourself a comb and brush the "grass" to the desired position. Spray it with hairspray to hold it in place. It looks great with sprinkle of coloured scatter to simulate wildflowers.
Cheers
