Intereresting figure sets from Trumpeter
I have no idea of when they will be released, but I saw these on the Trumpeter site. They should make for some real interesting Iraq or Afghanistan dioramas or vignettes.
Maybe even something to put on that beautiful Monroe Perdue street corner base
This one is labeled as PMC in Iraq Fire Movement Team.
And this one is PMC in Iraq VIP (I guess the very frightened looking guy holding the black case very close) Protection.
If they are even half way decent they could look so cool next to a Hummer or Stryker or something like that. Or it might be worth it just to get those hot little W-4 carbines .

Got to disagree with the use of the word mercenaries they are private security guards and they do a difficult and dangerous job which frees up coalition troops for more important work, granted there may be some that are slightly OTT but generally they are just hard workin blokes trying to earn a living and i am proud to count a number of them as good friends.

Interesting news. Lots of potential for modern dio. Now let's wait and see how the real figures will look like

W4 carbines? I thought they were M4 carbines.
BTW, I agree, they are not mercenaries. Look up the life of "Mad Mike Hoare" and you will see a true unashamed unabashed merc. these guys are not that - not at all.

I hope Trumpeter does a better job on the heads/faces. IMO, their earlier figure sets had faces that looked like ghouls. Still, a welcome addition.
