The good news on the pending M3A1 from Dragon is that it is to be a three in one kit .

"This new Smart Kit is a 3-in-1 offering, allowing an M3, M3A1 or M3A2 halftrack to be built. Dragon has spared no effort in reproducing these three distinctive vehicles. The essential differences are these: the M3 was armed with an MG on a central pedestal mount; the M3A1 replaced this with a ring mount in an armored ‘pulpit’ above the front passenger seat; and the M3A2 was a prototype with an armored shield on the AA ring mount , with moveable stowage boxes in the rear of the hull. "

It is supposed to be in the US in April of 2009.

Well. You might need to make that four Shocked . In case you haven't heard the news, Trumpeter has announced they are going to release the Sd.Kfz 7/1 also. And unless Dragon is farther along than it seems Trumpeter will have it out first seeing as how far ahead of Dragon they appear to be with the base vehicle.I just hope this doesn't mean they will both be rubbish due to racing to be the first one out with the kit, and giving up on decent research.
