Vignette
Hi Pavel,
I want to make a vignette of this one,but I am afraid I won't to be able to make a vignette this time.
Because we have the Shizuoka Hobby Show in this month,Mig and his friends come to Tokyo for the show.So I am a little bit busy.

Re: This is my first challenge here.
Norio San , if you have Mig there , you just need to get him to help Hehehehehe ! I am hoping you can post some photos here of his visit and of the show too . I know he is not averse to braille scale himself ! Tell the beautiful Elli that if my little sister can build for it that I am sure she can too ! We can even arrange time extensions if needed too !

Hello Norio:
That is going to be a nice little kit with the Mickey Mouse camo job. Not to mention all the figures you have to do for it.

Thank you Jenny and Gary!
Hi Jenny and Gary,
I am very happy to be able to join the contest.
Of course, I will get a big help from Mig,actully he loves to make a braille scale model.
He is in Chicago AMPS now, very busy man!
I am now planning to make a big diorama of WW2 in 1/72,so this is very good start for the project.

Hi Norio,
My eyesight is also poor now, I cannot build models at all without optivisors. Good luck and I hope you can finish.

Hi Norio:
But just remember that it is a fun challenge. And it's not like you get punished for not finishing on time . It will still be nice just to be able to see how others do things, and watch a piece of art come to life .

I believe that Mel has determined that the true technical term for these are "googley eyes" and not "optivisors"

Re: This is my first challenge here.
Hi Norio-san!
That does look like it will be a challenge, especially with the tank riders! I don't know if it will help much, but often what I do for 1/72 figures is to paint them black, then drybrush white which makes the highlights come out, and then stain the colors on with thinned paint.
Those googly-eyes... I must find a pair of those! I wear reading glasses and even with those it's more challenging now, you're not alone.
I am looking forward to seeing this model finished!
(^o^)!

Re: This is my first challenge here.
Well I have Googley Eyes too (thats exactly what Mel calls them) , mine are from a company called Donegan Optimavisors and they have interchangable magnification lenses , I have a light for mine too but with the battery pack it is too annoying so I do not use it .
