I think that this is the lead kit in the series that will allow us to eventually buy any Tiger that was ever built on Feb 23 1944. Or Feb 24 1944. Or Feb 25 1944 etc etc etc. . . .

I believe this one had octagonal, instead of hexagonal widgets on the obersturmenfuhrerplacticbucketforderpoopenkhazicomodengerwahtsit. And I am lead to believe (and I kid you not, I believe this is the major difference); a combination of later features (already kitted) and (drum roll please) drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrdumtish a travel lock.
I stand to be corrected though as all these Tiger I boxes on tracks look the same to me
Fair play to Dragon though, they picked something they can simply chuck the same 70% of sprues in, sprinkle on a few from a different version and a small new one and oila; a whole new kit. It is impeccable business sense and frankly they'd be mad not to. Good luck to them
