New Armor Stuff From Eduard.
First up is a set for the Trumpeter ASLAV-25 RV.
Then they have a set of blast panels to go with their previously released slat armor for the Stryker M1134 ATGM version.
Next up is an exterior set for the HobbyBoss AAVP-7A1 kit.
And then there is the one that is about as armored as you could possibly get . They have a set for the 1/350th Tirpitz. This is actually two sets to get it all. First is a detail set, and the second set is the railings. I guess this way you could decide to do just the railings and accept the rest of the kit. And decide to get the detail set if you are just a little nuts .
Next month Eduard plans to release the interior for the AAVP-7A1 along with a detail set for the Academy Merkava IV and a set of armor shields for the Merkava also. They also show that they will be releasing one of their "Big Ed" sets for the Leopard 2A6M.
Well I think that is enough clicking on photos for one night. Tomorrow I might put up some photos of their new wingy thingy sets to keep the Moon Puppy types happy.

Eeeewwwww. Sorry about that. It's not for the Academy kit. It's listed as for the Revell kit . But I imagine that it could be made to work with either of them. Probably even the Tamiya kit. Who knows, with all the model companies reboxing others kits, it might be the Academy kit for all I know.

gary - the tamiya and the academy tirpitz are absolutely the same! the only difference are the 20mm flakvierlinge! the academy version is a shameless copy of the tamiya one!
even with the same mistake with the bruno turret barbette!
i had noticed the different stand of the model and so noticed after my original posting that it cannot be tamiya nor academy but had to be the revell version! so i edited my first version posting!
nevertheless this could surely be used on all kits! maybe not all parts but with a little bit of surplus work surely manageable!
it's just not fair ... the tirpitz with all that brass looks so sweet 'n sexy!
the scharnhorst (sausage), the lucky prinz, the graf spee ... there are so many spectacular vessels out there or up to hit the market ... thank god i'm no shipbuilder!
