Panzers on the Eastern Front. By General Erhard Raus. ISBN: 1-85367-489-3. This is about his Panzer Divisions in Russia from 1941-1945. It covers operations by the 6th Panzer Division and it's subordinate units assigned. The book starts out with Operation Barbarossa, the attempt to break out General Paulus in Stalingrad, and the tough struggle all the way back to germany. An excellent book for the military oriented. I give it 4 out of 5 stars. . I highly recommend this book.

I've finished another Stackpole book. ISBN: 978-0-8117-2905-5, Armor Battles of the Waffen SS 1943-45. A very good book that covers all the armored SS units that fought on the west front and the fantastic battles on the east front, back to the last days of Berlin. It has 16 pages of black and white photos, Technical data of all WW2 tanks, and the insignia of the 7 SS panzer divisions. I give that one 5 out of 5 stars. . I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in german armor during WW2.
