Trumpeter Type 87 JGSDF recon vehicle

X2

The tires have the Bridgestone logo on them I am not sure if the real things had them on I can't find any real good closeups of the tires, when they are clean

The figure sprues They remind me of the early Tamiya figues

Clear sheet for the vision blocks

Axles and nylon cable

Nice little preview.
Try to use more lights when you take pictures like theses. Some of them are a little on the dark side and other show some uneven light around.
What are your impressions on the kit? How are the figures?
Are you planning to build this one soon? If so, are you going OOB or will you add a little PE set to it?
Here's a little zoomo on a clean tire to confirm the Bridgestone logo

You are going to have fun with this kit! Don't let the metal axles fool you though as you really can't put much weight on the model as you roll it around (oops, did I write that?)
I wrote a review for Track-Link back in 2005 and here are the photos as it seems to be the same:

Hi Chad
I got that kit also.
Pretty strange for me as it's
1. not a softskin
2. Modern
Maybe we could do a "my type 87 is cooler than yours" build together
