Merkava Mk. IV Tracks Experiment
The Academy Merkava Mk. IV kit tracks were a bit fiddly for me, maybe it was because I was not used to working with the length and link style of tracks in the past.
So I had my good friend Terry Barrow design me a set in 3d and I am having them printed as an experiment to see how they look and work.
They will be workable and come right out of the machine assembled in 33 link sections, if you snap three strips of the 33 link sections together you will have a full set for one side of the tank.
I should have the test shots next week and i will post the results then.
Unfortunately they do not come cheap, each 33 link section costs me $10.45 and it will require six of them to equip a full tank!
Oh well, the savings in time and the realistic look may make it palatable.

I, for one, would be really interesting to see how they come up. Please keep us updated
