Cool new 1/35 scale sci-fi/Girly figures....
My good friend Pat Stansell just returned from a research trip to Paris. While he was in France, Pat stopped in at the Blast models hobby shop to pick up a few items. Pat saw two new resin figures on the shelves at Blast and he called me to ask if I wanted him to pick them up for me (it's good to have friends).
I said "yes, please" and so he bought them and mailed them to me on his return to the U.S..
I was quite pleasantly surprised when I opened the package of each figure to find them nicely sculpted and very well engineered and packaged.
Below are a few photos of one of these gems.
Thank you to Pat for thinking of me ( he also picked me up the scarce ADV/Azimut Israeli Achzarit kit!!!), this because I am in the process of publishing a full color book on the Achzarit Series and a series of articles for MMIR magazine where I will build the ADV/Azimut kit, the Legends Achzarit kit, the AEF Designs conversion and scratch building my own Achzarit conversion for the Tamiya T-55.
A new series of 1/35 scale sci-fi figures from the popular graphic novel series DUST.
Very unique packaging with each cleanly cast resin piece housed in its own space.
The pose is very well designed, cleanly cast with no cleanup or even pouring sprues to be removed!
A rear view of the figure showing the nice petite style and nicely sculpted drapery details.
Two different heads are given, this one with a padded helmet on and another one with short hair and no headgear.

It is part of Koshka's uniform.

They also made some very nicely done polystyrene plastic figures which Frank Forster equated to early Dragon figures in quality. Perfect for the Panzer 1946 kits.
Merit International in the US imports them and hosts Paolo whenever he comes to the hobby trade show in the US:
